Hooray for natural winemaking practices, including organic farming and native fermentations! I am a big believer that meals should be enjoyed with wine, and the best wines to go with food are lower in alcohol and heavy oak influence, and inherently quaffable. Matthiasson nails this philosophy. They also produce some offbeat grape varieties, which is a breath of fresh air in a sea of Cabs & Chards.
