Our story in a few more words
There are only a handful of grand cru vineyards in Napa Valley, and Jesse is incredibly fortunate to work with several of them. The ideal microclimates, precision viticulture, and gravelly loam soils provide the consummate expression of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. He is grateful for this opportunity and shares his experiences and winemaking ability through Copper Bear Wines.
Copper Bear is an exploration of Napa Valley AVAs, displaying the unique terroir of Oakville, Rutherford, and Oak Knoll appellations. Stylistically, the goal is to provide a rich yet balanced example of each vineyard site and appellation. You can expect an opulent and delicious wine meant for a steak dinner or 20+ years of aging in your cellar. With just 50 to 100 cases produced per year, these wines tend to disappear quickly.
