Bob and Karen Mueller have dedicated 40 years to establishing McKenzie-Mueller Vineyards and Winery. Their first vineyard, planted in 1978 in the Oak Knoll AVA, was home to roughly 4 acres of their Cabernet Franc and eventually Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc as well. In 1986, they found a site in the Los Carneros AVA of Napa Valley where they hoped to establish additional vines as well as a small winery, and in 1988 planting began. Today Bob, Karen, and their extraordinary crew farm 45 planted acres of vineyard.
We're currently growing 4 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 4 acres of Cabernet Franc at our Oak Knoll vineyard, as well as 37 combined acres of Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay at our Los Carneros vineyard and winery in Napa Valley.
In addition to wine growing, we currently produce 2,000 cases of estate-grown, produced, and bottled (unfiltered) wine annually.
