These wines are for the curious drinker who seeks complex, elegant wines; they are for the adventurer who’s always eager to embark on a journey; they are for the storyteller who wishes to blur the line between reality and myth. We produce small-batch wines from carefully chosen grapes hidden among the misty hillsides of the Willamette Valley. Every wine, born from wild fermentation, tells a small portion of our story. Each bottle is a sentence, each barrel is a paragraph, and each vintage is a chapter of our unfolding tale.
Satyr Fire wine is made from hand-picked fruit, crushed manually, and moved by gravity between barrel and tank. They are made in a traditional style, with homage to the classic methods of the Old World. We strive to craft lean, acid-driven wines with tension and energy that will be vibrant in youth and are age-worthy in the hands of a patient collector.
