Introducing the inaugural 2018 vintage of Resolution Wines Cabernet Sauvignon handcrafted by winemaker Caitlin Lhommeau. This crisp and succulent ruby-red wine is made up of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot from an undisclosed vineyard location on the eastern side of Oakville in the Napa Valley. Aromas of black cherry and soft vanilla waft out of the glass. The palate is vibrant and well-balanced with soft, elegant tannins and subtle notes of huckleberries, black currant, and cloves.

Winemaking
Fermentation: The wine was cold soaked before being inoculated with yeast to begin fermentation. During fermentation, temperatures were regulated to keep the wine from getting too hot. As the yeast worked their magic, the wine was punched down 2 times per day and air was added using the PulsAir system as needed. At the end of fermenatation the resulting wine was drained into barrels and the grape skins were pressed to recover even more liquid.
