California Cabernet Franc, 2018

Produced by San Rucci Winery

This Cabernet Franc was grown in sandy soils, which along with the long growing season creates a unique environment for complete phenolic ripeness of the grape. Grapes were harvested in late September of 2018 and were small bin fermented to dryness before being introduced to medium toast French oak barrels. The result is a well-balanced, fruit-forward wine with earthy and spicy undertones.
