This wine is a very intentional blend of four grape varieties from two vineyards in Napa Valley. Expect delicious flavors of white peach, kafir lime, lychee and flint. Held in bottle for at least a year before release, this wine will reward much longer aging.

Steve and Jill Klein Mathiason started Matthiasson wines in 2003 after working for many years in the sustainable agriculture and local food movement. For us, winemaking is a natural extension of farming. Our wines are classical expressions of different grape varieties, some well-known like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, and some rare like Ribolla Gialla and Refosco (originaly grown in the Friuli region of Italy).
