Red Blend "Tethered", 2018

Produced by Final Girl Wines

The character 'Red' in 2018's US is a darker earthier version of her tethered persona of Adelaide living above. The Tethered Red Blend is equally earthy, with dark fruits and smooth tannins. 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache, it is the equal and opposite follow up to our popular Grenache Syrah 2016 blend.

Loved by 3 Tastemakers
Tristan | Que Sera, Syrah Tastemaker

"This Syrah/Grenache blend holds well with red meats and fat. I love it with lamb and put together a slow cooked lamb shank pita recipe to go with this wine. If you need some inspiration, see below."

Bill Newman | @billwine5 Tastemaker

"2018 Tethered Red Wine Rhône blend 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache sourced from Santa Maria. Lots of red fruit, white pepper and herbaceous notes on the nose with medium [+] intensity airy aromas with developing characteristics and medium ruby color. Medium [+] acidity and dry on the palate with medium intensity flavors of same with citrus and nectarine traces on the finish with medium tannins and high alcohol (14.6 ABV) with a lingering finish. Good food friendly wine. Can drink now, has potential for further aging. Full video review here: "
