"I bought this wine for the label and fell in love with flavors of cranberry, bright red fruit 🍒 , fresh fig, subtle hints of rosemary 🪴 and milk chocolate 🍫 . THIS IS THE PERFECT THANKSGIVING WINE. Pair this wine with roast turkey 🍗 or chicken, less spicy Asian dishes like pho 🍜 and pad see ew."
"Several factors drew me to this Rockets Red Wine Grenache 2019. First of all, I was so excited about this producer: First of all, the winemaker is a veteran of the Air Force based out of Santa Barbara using minimal intervention winemaking methods to make his small production wines. Secondly, I can never seem to pass up a single varietal Grenache! I opened up this bottle at 5 o’clock one Friday afternoon to celebrate the beginning of the weekend. It was medium-bodied, with present tannins and notes of strawberry, cedar, and cherry cola."
"A unique wine made out of Grenache grapes sourced out of Edna Valley, which isn't known for Grenache. This isn't your typical Grenache wine, it is rich in tannins that can hold up with BBQ/red meat dishes."
"TOP 🚀 SECRET Excited to try this vintage once again sourced from Edna Valley AVA in San Luis Obispo County. My notes: Medium ruby color. Medium intensity aromas of raspberry, red currant, pastry and pie crust with traces of allspice with developing characteristics. Compared to the 2018 vintage this 2019 vintage is more fruit-forward and lower alcohol (13.6 ABV) with still the balanced medium acidity and dry palate, medium intensity aromas of same with additional tobacco leaf traces, medium tannins, and great structure and body with a long finish. Outstanding wine, can drink now has potential for further aging. Check out my video review on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/LxZuaHUwLXE"
